Homestead Church offers a variety of small groups. These are simple ways for you to strengthen relationships within the community and grow in faith. For detailed times, please see the church calendar.
Each Wednesday morning, a group of young women meet over coffee to chat, pray, and laugh together. Most weeks, our children come along, and play together in a neighboring room. This group is relaxed and open for newcomers. If you're new to the area or are a parent with young kids: join us!
New this fall, a Saturday morning group for Dad's with young children. We usually meet someplace away from church, and our rhythm is still forming. If you're interested in joining us, reach out to our Pastors.
Worship And Study Hour meets most Wednesday evenings. We begin with a family style meal, before turning to the lesson of the day. Topics are thought-provoking, relevant, and require no previous experience or studies! We also have lessons for children available. See our current series below.
Thursday Morning Bible Study
The coffee is hot, and conversation lively at our Thursday morning bible study. We meet at 9a and usually discuss the passage for the coming Sunday. On the fourth Thursday of each month, we volunteer to help kids at Gibbs Elementary School practice their reading skills.
Friends are made over a hot meal. The second Thursday of the month, around 25 of us gather for a meal together. Prepared by PossAbilities, we appreciate the connection to our community partners, too. Our church bus is available for rides if you do not drive. Contact the church office for more info.
United Methodist Women (UMW)
Our congregation is blessed by the service and prayers of three UMW circles: Grace, Koinonia, and Naomi. Each circle meets monthly, please see the church calendar for meeting times and dates.
