A small gift can help fill a pantry—and express a whole lot of love. Throughout October, Homestead Church is collecting canned fruit to help neighbors facing food insecurity. We invite everyone to participate by adding a can or two to your grocery cart and bringing your donations to church.
Peaches, pears, pineapple, applesauce, fruit cocktail—there are plenty of ways to contribute! Please choose unopened, commercially packaged cans within their best-by dates. Fruit packed in water or its own juice is especially welcome.
Our monthly food collection is one simple way we put our faith into practice. As we gather for worship and share at Christ’s table, we also seek to help our neighbors have enough at theirs. Each donation is a practical act of care, and together those small gifts add up.
Bring your canned fruit donations to Homestead Church throughout October. Invite a friend or family member to join you, and help us make this a month of generous giving. Thank you for sharing God’s love, one can at a time!
